Welcome to OTWC!We urge you to pull up a chair and stay awhile...
About Us We are a group of and for "open minded" writers. We are open to both fiction and non-fiction persons with open heart, spirit and mind. We gather once a month for group topic discussion and conversation. We have extra activities for members only. Our Purpose Our purpose is to share a place where writers from the Unitarian Church of Lincoln and friends can come. We offer support and the shared excitement of the creative magic that happens before thought and action collide. Simply: Our purpose is to serve the Unitarian Church of Lincoln artist community and provide education. Our History We started our journey in December 2009 as church newcomers looking for this mysterious writers' group members spoke of. After learning that group no longer met it was decided a new group must form. We officially starting meeting in February of 2010. Our UU Connection We are the writers' group for the Unitarian Church of Lincoln, so all local UUs are welcome at all times. We are open to non-UUs and have members who are, but we always have place for our Unitarian brothers and sisters. Contact Katie for meeting info. NOW Open to Visitors! We are open to visiting writers. There is a process of first contacting our group leader and following the steps that must be met to join OTWC. After a writer attends second group meeting and wants to continue a vote is held by charter members and writer may be asked to join. Benefits will then follow. Continue your stay by visiting Our Writers. | Latest News! Our Anthology: Collection of Writings is NOW available in our Bookstore!
